From when she was crowned Miss Russia, I thought that she would've easily been a front runner for the Miss Universe title, but due to some conflicting schedules, Ksenia was unable to represent Russia in the Miss Universe Pageant, in Vietnam. Regardless, my choice for the title (Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela) still won.
Fast forward to Johannesburg, South Africa, Ksenia is the automatic choice to represent Russia which is totally logical, because she was unable to compete in Miss Universe. However, upon arrival she was deemed as the favorite to win the crown. No doubt at all, she truly deserved all the hype. I watched her from the beginning of her journey and followed her, became one of her biggest fans, and agreed will all of the hype. When the betting agencies placed her as the favorite to win the crown, I completely agreed.
Finals night, her answer seemed a little shaky, but she pulled it off. Many believed India should have won, but I disagree 100%. Ksenia was the perfect choice, and now she can bask in her year of victory!!!!!
