A-Data Shows Off S501 SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs At Computex 2010

A-Data hits back by showing off their first line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs ‘S501′ at Computex 2010. Available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB sizes, these new 2.5-inch drives are based on MLC NAND Flash memory chips and capable of delivering read and write speeds of up to 350MB/s and 200MB/s, respectively. Not to mention, they also feature a Marvell controller and a 128MB of cache memory. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet. [Hexus]
